SUMMARY:CISA Research Report Health Security and Advocacy final_2\,
DESCRIPTION:The Basin Development Strategy (BDS) and MRC strategic plan for 2021-2030 focus on gender action and stakeholder engagement. The updated Sustainable Hydropower Development Strategy (SHDS) for the Lower Mekong Basin was adopted in 2021. However\, people in the Greater Mekong Sub-region and Lower Mekong Basin lack awareness of hydropower risks\, impact mitigation guidelines\, and biodiversity. The vulnerable Mekong River communities rely on traditional livelihoods with limited understanding of ecosystems. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDownload PDF

SUMMARY:THE RESEARCH REPORT ON THE COMMUNITIES’ UNDERSTANDING ON ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE
DESCRIPTION:CISA extends its gratitude to IREX-Youth Excel through YCC for their financial support in implementing action research on environment and climate change by young smart researchers. Commendations are also given to local authorities\, target communities\, and Mr. Chot Heng\, the CISA program manager\, for their support and collaboration in the research process. Mr. Heng provided training\, technical assistance\, and guidance in research techniques\, data analysis\, and report writing. With the collaboration of the research team and the assistance from IREX and YCC\, CISA successfully conducted the action research\, yielding significant outcomes. The dedication of data collectors and young smart researchers in accessing information and following research guidelines resulted in valuable research products\, despite encountering challenges along the way. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n CISA’s staff joined the IPEER and GESI trainings which were organized by YCC in early July 2023. CISA program manager provided the training of action research techniques and ethics to 5 CISA young smart researchers\, Young Smart Researchers conducted field data collection by target arears of Stung Treng and Pursat province in August 2023 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDownload PDF
